Driving directions:You'll enjoy
watching kids from the community parade their homemade lanterns around the pond to the
music of the Ringgold Band. Concessions include hot food and cold treats, and fun
activities for kids.
From north of Reading:
Take Rt. 222 South (not Business 222)
to bypass Reading.
Take Penn Avenue exit into West
Reading.
Proceed about seven blocks, then turn LEFT
onto Park Road.
Follow Park Road about a mile to end, then turn RIGHT
onto Parkside Drive North (at Scottish Rite Cathedral).
Go 0.4 mile to stop sign at Wyomissing
Boulevard. The stone house is straight ahead across the street.
Locate a parking spot on the street and follow
the crowd.
From south of Reading:
Take Rt. 222 North toward
Shillington.
Watch for Days Inn and Tom Sturgis Pretzels on
right. At traffic light after Route 724 junction, turn LEFT onto Museum Road.
Proceed about one mile on Museum Road, then turn
LEFT onto Wyomissing Boulevard. If you reach the traffic light near the Reading
Public Museum, you went too far.
Proceed less than one mile on Wyomissing Blvd.;
the stone house will be on your left.
Locate a parking spot on the street and follow
the crowd to the stone house.
From west of Reading:
Take Rt. 422 East toward
Reading.
Near the Berkshire Mall, take the State
Hill Road exit.
Turn RIGHT at the traffic
light, heading toward West Reading on State Hill Road.
Go about a half mile, then continue straight
at the traffic light, crossing over Penn Avenue. This street will become Wyomissing
Boulevard.
Continue another 0.8 mile to Parkside
Drive North. The stone house and park is at this intersection, on the right.
Locate a parking spot on the street and follow
the crowd to the stone house.
