directions: From Reading:
- Take Route 12 East to Rt. 73 (at Tailgaters
Restaurant).
- Turn RIGHT onto Route 73 East and continue
through Oley.
- About 2 miles past Oley (in Pleasantville), turn LEFT
onto Oysterdale Road at the traffic light.
- Go about a mile and turn RIGHT onto Hill Church Road.
You might see a sign for St. Joseph's Day Care, which is near the church.
- Continue to the stop sign. Hill Church will be right in front of
you. Park on the church lot and walk downhill to the grove.
From north of Oley:
- From Pricetown Road In New Jerusalem, go east on Lobachsville
Road (at Alexander's sandwich shop). Follow that road until it ends at a T
intersection.
- Turn LEFT onto Oysterdale Road.
- Turn LEFT onto Hill Church Road. You may see a
sign for St. Joseph's Day Care, which is near the church.
- Continue to the stop sign. Hill Church will be right in front of
you. Park on the church lot and walk downhill to the grove.
Fast Fact: Hill Church was constructed in
1852, the same year that Ringgold Band was founded. What a coincidence! |
