Ringgold Band
Young Artist Award
Each year, the Ringgold Band gives the Ringgold Band Young Artist Award to a qualifying high school senior. To qualify for the award, an applicant must be:
A senior at a Berks County public high school
Participating in the Berks Senior Band Festival
Planning to continue with a career in music OR planning to perform in a college or military ensemble after high school

An interested applicant who meets all of these requirements will perform the piece he or she has prepared for Senior County Band and District Band auditions for a panel of judges from the Ringgold Band. The winner will receive $1,000 and will have the opportunity to perform a piece with the Ringgold Band as a soloist.Â
